DIANA MORRIS

Instructor: Ballet, Pointe

Diana Kavilis Morris grew up in southern California with dreams of being a ballerina until she did her first musical in high school and subsequently went on to have a career in musical theatre.
Broadway: A Chorus Line (Val); European Tour: A Chorus Line (Cassie); US Tours: Cats (Demeter, und. Grizabella), A Chorus Line (swing), Jerome Robbins’ Broadway (Claire), Evita (Eva), Miss Saigon (Ellen), Martin Guerre (Marie); LA Company: Sunset Boulevard (ensemble, original cast album); Hollywood Bowl Summer Musicals (ensemble): My Fair Lady, Mame, The Sound of Music, Camelot. Prior to the pandemic, she was a Disney performer and vocal line captain for over ten years. Diana has taught musical theatre master classes for the BFA program at CSUF; guest directed for the Young Americans (proud alumn); has sung on many studio recordings including a recent demo for a new musical. She is has her Stage Management Certificate from Fullerton College and 
is a certified Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) instructor. PBT by Marie Walton-Mahon is an innovative ballet training program that teaches students to understand proper muscle strength, alignment, weight placement and core stability.
