Samantha Collins

Samantha Collins was born in Southern California and has been with The Academy of Dance for 17 years. She started out as a Tiny dancer at the age of 2 ½  and continued on until she graduated from Canyon High School. She has always loved performing on stage and being a role model for young dancers. At the age of 10 she started assisting in the Tiny Dancer classes with founder, Merle Sepel. Ever since then, she has had a passion for teaching kids and is currently pursuing a career in Speech Language Pathology for Elementary school. 

 

Samantha has been working with young children as a Cheer Coach and Supervisor through i9 Sports since 2022. Currently she teaches Tiny Tots, Creative Ballet, Pre-Ballet, and Ballet 1 classes at AOD.

 

Performance Experience includes: 

Classically trained in Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Jazz, and Tap for 16 years. Trained and performed as a member of Canyon High School’s Dance Company. Performed in several Nutcracker’s with American Pacific Ballet Company with leading roles such as Clara and Mouse King. Multiple years of musical theater training through elementary school and middle school. 2 years of training with Southern California Children's Choir including performances with ABT’s The Nutcracker at Segerstrom.
